Ok, so, it wasn’t only me experiencing the problem! Next we tried him! He proceeded to do a bigger circle (which terrified me as I was concerned he’d splice off part of his outer brow) and still it didn’t pick up any hair. I tried the smaller circles and it literally didn’t pick up a single hair. I had a excess hair at the brow bone that needed to be shaped and he had a small bit of stray hairs that could have been easily plucked version using this pen but we needed to see how it worked. We hopped on FaceTime, compared brows, and went to work. I have bushy brows as we all know that are prone to growing into a unibrow. We were swapping boxes of snacks and goodies back and fourth all during the pandemic so this felt like a good excuse to pay it forward for his last gift to me and also, to get his thoughts on how this work. You actually have to move it around your brow bone and upper brow area in small circles. You can’t just sweep this across your brows and expect it to pick up stray hairs. It’s just when you actually use it that things don’t turn out so great. The shape, the design, it’s all flawless and a very good idea. It also has a handy light at the tip making it easy to see the hairs on your brows. It has an on and off switch and takes one AA battery to operate. So, as you can see this is designed like a pen. I was pretty confident that I could easily whisk away stray hairs and shape my brows with this pen but nope, that didn’t happen. My brows were just a carnage! It was uni-brow glam all day, every day. At the time I was really being super careful what I purchased online as I didn’t want to contribute to making things harder for essential workers but I really did feel like this was essential item. I paid $20 at Target and eagerly awaited my package. Uh yeah, so, it didn’t quite work out that way. Here was a little epilator pen that promised to gently remove stray hairs while shaping my brows! Yes, this would totally make me look like a normal person again!
You know what? It was sort of hard finding one in stock at the time!
